What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a procedure in which the skin is manually exfoliated to remove dead skin buildup and fine hairs utilizing a medical scalpel, resulting in beautiful smooth skin. This technique makes the skin smoother, softer, and brighter. It can help reveal healthy skin beneath dead skin cell layers. It also helps improve the penetration of skincare products and preps the skin for additional procedures like lasers and peels.

What is Microcurrent Technology?

In the beauty industry, microcurrent is often used for facial toning and rejuvenation. The current is applied to the skin with a small handheld device that delivers a series of gentle impulses to the facial muscles, helping to lift, firm, and tighten the skin.

The treatment is non-invasive and requires no downtime. It has been clinically tested therapy for decades and is a safe technology for skincare.

What is Skinflammation?

Whether your skin is dry, dull, red, uneven texture, or fine lines, there’s often the same cause – skinflammation. Skinflammation can manifest from many factors, including UV and heat energy, air pollution, stress, smoking, genetics, aging, and hormones. Over time, long-term/chronic skin inflammation gradually degrades the skin, resulting in premature aging. There is an array of options that treat the symptoms of skinflammation, but not many can treat the inflammation causing the symptoms. Glacial Skin treatments downregulate inflammation in the skin, treating the cause of the symptoms we see manifesting as signs of skin degradation and aging. To learn more about skinflammation, you can visit www.skinflammation.com.

What will a typical patient journey look like?

Glacial Skin can be used anywhere on the body, including the face, legs, arms, and chest. The treatment primarily addresses reducing redness, puffiness, and other unwanted effects of inflamed skin. Combating skin inflammation provides long-term benefits by slowing the progression of skin aging. Following Glacial Skin treatments, patients often express how relaxing and refreshing the experience was and how immediately their skin looks brighter, more hydrated, and refreshed. In normal skin, melanin is produced at a regular rate. Spots begin to appear when sun damage, environmental damage, or other issues cause melanin overproduction. Glacial Freeze treatments help to normalize melanin production in benign pigmented lesions of the skin.

How many treatments will I need?

Glacial skin treatments can be done as a one-time treatment, added on, or in a series, depending on the skin condition. Best clinical results are realized when Glacial Skin treatments are done in a series of treatments and as part of a regular ongoing skin wellness routine.

What is a typical treatment plan?

Treatment plans are customized to each patient’s skincare needs. Patients can be recommended 1 or a combination of the 3 treatment modalities: Glacial Glide, Glacial Gloss, or Glacial Freeze. Glacial Glide Rx - In conjunction with aesthetic treatments, including laser, Microneedling, injectables, and more. Glacial Gloss Rx - It is common to schedule treatments 4 or more weeks apart. Glacial Freeze - While patients can see results in a single treatment, spots that require additional treatment to achieve the desired look should be treated when the skin is back to baseline, approximately 4-8 weeks.

ViPeel®: Prices range from $275 to $340

What is ViPeel?

ViPeel is a medical-grade chemical peel that is used to improve the appearance of the skin. It is a two-step process that includes a pretreatment solution and a peeling solution. The pretreatment solution helps to prepare the skin for the peel, while the peeling solution removes damaged skin cells.

Benefits of ViPeel

ViPeel can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns, including:

  • Acne scars

  • Age spots

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Sun damage

ViPeel Procedure

The first step is to cleanse the skin. Then, the pretreatment solution is applied to the skin and allowed to dry. Once the pretreatment solution has dried, the peeling solution is applied. The peeling solution will cause a tingling or burning sensation, which is normal. The peeling solution is typically left on the skin for 3-5 minutes, and then it is neutralized with a cool compress. After the peel, the skin will be red and may feel tight or itchy. It is important to avoid sun exposure & to use a gentle moisturizer after the peel. The skin will start to peel within 3-5 days, the peeling will continue for up to 7 days.

Results of ViPeel

ViPeel can produce significant results, with most people seeing an improvement in their skin tone and texture within 4-6 weeks. The results of ViPeel can last for up to 6 months.

Is ViPeel right for me?

ViPeel is a good option for people who are looking to improve the appearance of their skin and who are willing to undergo a short recovery period. However, ViPeel is not right for everyone. People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have a history of keloid scarring, or who are taking certain medications should not get ViPeel.
